Children and young people
WASLER recognises that children and young people experience domestic abuse in their own right and need their own support workers. Our children and young people’s team provide one to one and group support to children and young people where abuse has happened in their homes (between parents and carers) or within their own relationships.
For us to work with children their parent does not have to be accessing support, referrals for this service can be made by young people (over 12 themselves), by parents or by professionals working with the child/family.

Day 8. Move🏃 Exercise can boost our mood & ease feelings of stress or anxiety. Find ways to keep moving during the short winter days - put on your favourite song & dance while you're tidying up, or go for a walk while you listen to that podcast. Exercise can be fun!
